Well, around 4:00 p.m. on Friday they were finally ready to head out. That was bit off from the noon time plan! We rented a car for their Dad, Dave, to drive them to NY. Any of you that know us can understand why we didn't want the van going all that distance! It was very hard saying good-bye. I must admit that I wasn't able to say it without tears. The tears lasted for about an hour after they had gone. Noah (17) and Nate (15) were a great comfort to me after their departure.
They arrived in NY around 10 p.m., I hear they had pizza and went to bed in the wee hours of the morning as they were still getting things ready! I got a call from Zach and Caleb around 10 a.m. and they were just about to board the plane. I got a last minute text saying they were on the plane and ready for take off! They both sounded very excited about this new adventure that God has them on!
